Road - A good weather road travel north from Alice Springs, turn off at the Yuendumu turn off. All bitumen road for approximately 136 km, turn at the Papunya turn off on to gravel road which is in a very poor state almost all year round. Approximately 105 km, turn off to Kintore. Papunya to Mt. Liebig turn off is approximately 66 km Mt Liebig to Kintore is approximately 223 km. Although the total kilometers for the trip are around 530 km it will take you approximately 6-7 hours to drive depending on the state of the road.

Air - The airstrip is unlicensed it is fenced and had been upgraded from gravel to bitumen pavement. However, the community has only one regular flight services a week (Wednesday).
